Moving to Arizona specifically for treatment options
Read that Arizona is actually one of the better states for addiction treatment infrastructure and my current city has basically nothing. Seriously considering relocating temporarily just to access proper care. Sounds extreme but I'm running out of local options. Would really appreciate any firsthand experience or resources from people familiar with the rehab landscape out there.

Relocating for treatment sounds extreme until you realize staying somewhere with zero options is actually the riskier move. Did exactly this two years ago, moved from a small town in Nevada to Phoenix for 90 days and it genuinely changed things. Arizona has a full treatment continuum that most states simply don't, detox, inpatient, PHP, IOP, sober living, all coordinated and available within the same metro area. The climate and structured recovery culture around Phoenix specifically makes a real difference. Before booking anything, rehab facilities Arizona low cost and free programs helped me understand which level of care actually matched where I was at rather than just picking randomly. Don't let geography keep you stuck if better options exist elsewhere.
