More Privacy

The downstairs bathroom window faces the pavement, and after a neighbour accidentally looked straight in last week, we decided something needs to change. We’d rather keep the daylight than install heavy blinds, so window films seem worth considering. If you’ve used privacy film on your windows, I’d love to know which supplier you went with and whether it’s held up well.

We had a similar moment with our downstairs cloakroom when someone walking past caught sight of the room through the clear glass. We wanted privacy without losing the daylight, so we looked at window film instead of fitting bulky blinds. Solar control window film  talked us through the available finishes, and we chose a subtle privacy film that softened the view without making the room gloomy. It has stayed firmly in place and is easy to clean. I’d order a sample first to check the effect.
